Digital health: Who’s up, who’s down

The digital health market is constantly changing, with new startups coming on to the scene and more established companies restructuring their strategies.

Companies that had a good week:

  1. Digital health company GetSetUp partnered with the state of Michigan to offer free online health classes to older adults.
  2. EHR vendor eClinicalWorks landed a new client with Gillette, Wyo.-based Downtown Pediatrics opting for their EHR system.

Companies that had a bad week: 

 

  1. The Veterans Affairs Oracle Cerner rollout continues to face issues. Most recently, workers at Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Wash., expressed frustration with the EHR system, and some higher-level employees have even quit.
  2. Online therapy company Resilience Lab’s leadership is urging its employees not to unionize after the company fired 12 therapists in November.
