The hospital was one of two entities awarded a total of $2 million for the HHS under the Leading Edge in Acceleration Projects in Health Information Technology. Boston Children’s won the United States Core Data for Interoperability area, according to an Aug. 14 HHS news release.
The CumulusQ project was an initiative by the hospital to provide easy access to high-quality healthcare data.
The Western New York Clinical Information Exchange was the other organization recogniozed by the HHS.
