Customized meal ordering and automated discharge summaries will also be available in the future, according to Baptist.

“Digital smart TV and engagement systems represent the future of inpatient hospital care, with greater options for on-demand entertainment and amenities, and the ability to stay connected with loved ones. It will improve patient safety and make it easier for our clinical staff to provide the highest level of care,” said Rogelio Ribas, MD, corporate vice president of Baptist Health International.
