Pymnts, a data outlet focused on e-commerce and online payment methods, and Lynx, a financial platform that connects healthcare payments, banking, e-commerce and investments, collaborated to conduct a study comprising 2,500 U.S. consumers to determine what users think is most important in a digital health platform.

The study surveyed a census-balanced panel and posed questions surrounding financing bills, finding providers, storing payment information and investing in health savings accounts. As each question highlighted a different feature for managing financial information or benefits through a single platform, the results revealed a majority of consumers want their platform to possess all of the capabilities mentioned, according to a June 30 news release from Pymnts.

The most prominent finding was that 79 percent of consumers would prefer to pay all types of medical bills in one digital location. The feature with the lowest demand still appealed to the majority of the participants, with 57 percent of consumers reporting they would opt for the single platform to store their bank account information, according to the release.
