5 digital health companies laying off workers

The digital health market can be turbulent, and some companies have made recent cuts.

Here are five digital health companies laying off workers since March 2:

  1. Digital biotech company Emerald Cloud Labs cut 30 jobs and closed its San Francisco offices.
  2. Pear Therapeutics laid off 170 workers and filed for bankruptcy.
  3. Health tech company CoverMyMeds laid off 815 workers and closed one of its offices.
  4. Digital therapeutics company, Better Therapeutics, laid off 35 percent of its workforce.
  5. Health tech company Color Health laid off 300 employees as it moves away from COVID-19 testing.
