Dept. of Homeland Security implements eClinicalWorks for immigrant health records

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is live on the eClinicalWorks EHR platform at all 23 immigration detention facilities.

The cloud-based EHR allows the facilities to better share information among them, and eClinicalWorks is also working with contractor Harris Corporation to develop more functionalities and integrate with the department's laboratory, radiology and pharmacy systems.

"eClinicalWorks delivers healthcare IT solutions for a variety of organizations," said Girish Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. "Our successful track record with government agencies and departments of health demonstrates that we have the right product for this setting. We are honored to have been selected by the Department of Homeland Security."
