Signature Healthcare cyber incident not expected to be resolved soon

Brockton, Mass.-based Signature Healthcare said it does not anticipate a cyber incident that began April 6 will be resolved in the next few days.

“Based on the information we have at this time, we do not anticipate the situation being resolved in the next few days,” an April 9 update Signature Healthcare shared with Becker’s reads. “Teams are preparing to continue downtime procedures for the next two weeks as necessary.”

The health system said it is continuing to provide care and is working with cybersecurity experts and state and federal officials to investigate the incident.
