The decision to implement a secure texting solution at the hospital was partly driven by provider demand for a secure texting app and has the added benefit of allowing administrators to see when a message has been read and replied to, according to a blog post on the Amcom website.
“When I saw [Mobile Connect] presented at Connect last November, I knew it was what we needed,” wrote Gino Angelone, voice systems engineer at NorthBay Medical Center, in the blog post.
