The health system discovered the incident Jan. 31 and concluded that the unauthorized party accessed the files between Oct. 28 and 29, 2022, according to a March 31 notice of data breach filed with the Montana attorney general.
The health system has no evidence of data misuse and is offering affected customers identity theft protection services.
