Two 17-year-old boys arrested by London police in connection with a cyberattack on a nursery school chain are being investigated for possible links to a Minnesota hospital hack, the Financial Times reported.
The teens were placed into custody Oct. 7 on suspicion of blackmail and computer misuse over the Radiant ransomware gang posting to the dark web children’s photos stolen from the Kido day care and preschool company, according to the Oct. 8 article.
Radiant also claims to have hacked an unnamed Minnesota hospital, giving it seven days to respond to the group’s demands before releasing its identity, the Times reported.
