Continuum Health Alliance to cut 88 jobs

Marlton, N.J.-based Continuum Health Alliance, a population health and practice management company, announced it will cut up to 88 jobs, effective June 5, according to a Philadelphia Business Journal report.

According to the report, Continuum Health Alliance plans to move jobs currently involved in revenue cycle management services to subcontractors.

In a statement, the company said, "The [layoffs] do not alter our mission of enabling physicians to improve quality of care, enhance the patient experience and lower the overall cost of care. By using proven partners who specialize in this area, Continuum is able to stay ahead of today's rapidly changing healthcare landscape and quickly expand service capacity for current and new clients, without straining the company's resources," according to the report.
