CMS offers one last ICD-10 testing period

The last period for end-to-end ICD-10 testing is scheduled to take place the week of July 20, and CMS has extended the deadline for voluntary providers to apply to conduct testing.

CMS has extended the application deadline for interested providers through May 22.

This will be the final sample group of providers who can undergo end-to-end testing before the ICD-10 go-live date set for Oct. 1. Approximately 850 volunteer organizations will be selected to participate in this testing period.
