Participants in the Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record Incentive Programs should not report this measure to meet the CQM objective because other FDA-approved anticoagulants are available, according to CMS. However, eligible professionals may continue to report NQF 0084 for the 2011-2012 program years if the EHR is certified for only nine CQMs and this measure is one of the nine.
