CMS appoints ICD-10 Ombudsman one month out from implementation

William Rogers, MD, director of CMS’ physician regulatory issues team, has been selected as the ICD-10 ombudsman for the organization.

The announcement was made in conjunction with news that a new ICD-10 Coordination Center will open in Baltimore at the end of September.

Dr. Rogers has worked with CMS since 2003.
