CMS: 7,500 Meaningful Use Payments Made in July

CMS awarded 7,425 meaningful use incentive payments to eligible providers in July, according to a report in Clinical Innovation & Technology.

Currently, 58 percent of all eligible providers have received an incentive payment, according to the report.

July has historically been a slow month for incentive payments and CMS expects the number of payments made to spike this winter, according to the report.
