Here are three things to know.

1. Patients can use Orchid Kiosk, which comes as a standalone kiosk or a handheld tablet, to provide feedback on their overall healthcare experience. Their feedback can range from what they liked to what they would improve upon.

2. CipherHealth hopes that by placing a satisfaction survey directly in the waiting area or examination room, patients will be more likely to respond to questions and include up-to-date thoughts.

3. “The product is designed to help providers or even office managers get an understanding of how they’re doing in terms of achieving the best patient experience possible. Oftentimes, providers and receptionists are too busy to try and recognize problem areas that can easily be addressed, but Orchid Kiosk takes care of this for them,” said CipherHealth Cofounder Zach Silverzweig.
