Children’s Medical Center Wins 2013 HIMSS Davies Award

Children’s Medical Center in Dallas has been named a 2013 Enterprise HIMSS Davies Award of Excellence winner.

The Health Information Management Systems Society’s Davies Award recognizes organizations that use electronic health records to improve care delivery while achieving a demonstrated return on the investment.

“Children’s Medical Center is honored and pleased to receive the 2013 HIMSS Davies Award,” said Pamela Arora, vice president and CIO at Children’s Medical Center, in a news release. “Through the use of the EHR, Children’s has been able to innovate care delivery, improve efficiency and workflows and develop patient and family engagement strategies that support our philosophy of whole family care. This award is a testament to the dedication of our physicians, clinicians and staff who work daily to fulfill our mission of making life better for children.”
