Children's Hospital Colorado joins Avia, becoming its 1st pediatric member

Avia, a network of health systems focused on digital innovation and transformation, added Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora.

The hospital is the first pediatric facility to join the network, which currently includes 40 organizations.

Along with other network members, Children's Hospital Colorado will work to identify and implement digital solutions that help it overcome several challenges, such as managing a large Medicaid patient population.

"In order to provide the best possible care for kids who need it, we need to be at the forefront of medicine. By joining AVIA, we will be able to collaborate with many of the nation's most innovative health systems to more quickly and confidently solve complex patient challenges," said Jena Hausmann, president and CEO of Children's Colorado.
