Cerner announced its intention to reaffirm a commitment to interoperability at the HIMSS15 Annual Conference & Exhibition from April 12 - 16 in Chicago.

Kansas City, Mo.-based Cerner, a founding member of industry interoperability coalition CommonWell Health Alliance, will feature many of its products that work toward interoperability, including its Substitutable Medical Applications & Reusable Technology and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources. Cerner will also participate in the Interoperability Showcase in Booth 2084 to present various interoperability tools and innovations to connect more EHRs and technology systems, according to the news release.

The CommonWell display at Booth 3690 will host panel discussions and demos from the various members, including Cerner, where visitors can see workflows and new products and discuss membership and interoperability goals at CommonWell, according to the news release.
