Cerner integrated NARxCHECK into its EHR in an effort to combat prescription drug abuse. Cerner EHR users now have access to data from prescription drug monitoring programs.
“Through the integration of NARxCHECK directly within the Cerner EHR, we are one step closer to breaking down interoperability barriers across healthcare,” said Bob Robke, vice president of interoperability at Cerner. “Providers will now have access to powerful PDMP data in seconds, a task that until now has added time and complexity to their workflow.”
