1. To help streamline the electronic prior authorization process, both Cerner and Allscripts announced they will integrate CoverMyMeds’ ePA solution into their EHR platforms.
2. Allscripts, McKesson and athenahealth were among the vendors with the biggest increases in client satisfaction for EHR use, according to a Black Book Rankings report.
3. Neither Epic nor Allscripts filed a protest with the Department of Defense regarding the DHMSM bid that eventually went to Cerner.
4. Both full- and part-time employees said they were most familiar with Epic‘s EHR platform, according to a Greythorn study. Cerner was the next platform with the highest level of familiarity.
