The software’s integration will allow providers to view a patient’s documented conditions to help define an episode of care, while also analyzing costs and expected resource use. The 3M Patient-focused Episodes Software defines over 500 episodes of patient care including both inpatient and outpatient procedures.

Additionally, HealtheIntent’s data warehouse, HealtheEDW, will support bundled payments allowing for comparison of provider costs and provision of classification, such as diagnosis-related group codes.
