Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles has selected the second class of its Cedars-Sinai Accelerator.
The Cedars-Sinai Accelerator includes eight health technology startups, selected from more than 650 applicants. These startups will go through a three-month boot camp at Cedars-Sinai, during which they will receive mentoring from physicians and executives and receive $120,000 in seed money.
Here are a few of the selected startups.
- Cerebro Solutions, an online platform that helps healthcare organizations manage clinicians and labor costs
- FIGS, an e-commerce platform for medical apparel featuring fluid-resistant fabrics
- Frame Health, a software that prescribes tailored treatment plans to high-cost, nonadherent patients, based on personality analysis
- Healthcare TTU, a platform that provides health systems with predictive analytics for cash flows and valuation of accounts receivable
- HealthTensor, a company that aims to improves patient outcomes and reduce costs through artificial intelligence
- Noteworth, an interoperable platform that brings together smart medical devices, data and support solutions
- ReferralMD, a cloud-based service that facilitates physician referrals and e-consults
