Cedars-Sinai Accelerator appoints new managing director: 4 notes

Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center selected Anne Wellington to serve as managing director of the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator, which offers mentoring and financial support for early-stage healthcare companies.

Here are four notes:

1. Ms. Wellington previously served as chief product officer and a founding team member at Stanson Health, a healthcare analytics company.

2. She was also entrepreneur-in-residence for the accelerator’s third class, which ended in November.

3. She began her career at Epic Systems.

4. In her new role, Ms. Wellington will oversee the accelerator’s fourth class, beginning in July.
