The two organizations signed a strategic services agreement in which Southeastern Health will have access to Carolinas HealthCare’s resources, including purchasing capabilities and operational and clinical best practice initiatives, according to the report.
“The benefits of our affiliation will be driven by our mutual commitment to put the patient first, improve the health of our communities and further enhance the overall value for our customers,” said Paul Franz, executive vice president of Carolinas HealthCare, according to the report.
