Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, N.C., has chosen Influence Health to provide its care management platform and patient portal.
Influence Health, headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., provides an integrated consumer engagement and activation platform through population health management and both a clinical and patient portal. Carolinas will implement Influence Health's Convert, Empower and Navigate solutions, which include the population health management and clinical and patient portals, according to a news release.
"Influence Health and Carolinas HealthCare share a common belief that while engaging consumers through the hospital's website and patient portal is essential to providing a better patient experience, it is having the ability to engage these patients through intelligent and interactive digital communications well beyond the clinical encounter that will shape consumers' choices and health behaviors in a way that is truly transformative to clinical and financial outcomes," said Peter Kuhn, CEO of Influence Health, in the news release.
