Carle Foundation Hospital deploys patient navigation app

Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Ill., implemented its patient wayfinding application, Carle Map powered by Connexient’s MediNav solution.

The implementation includes integrating the wayfinding app with Epic’s appointment scheduling solution to help reduce missed or late appointments. Additionally, the app will provide access to comprehensive directories and maps.

“This tool will help us enhance the experience for our patients. It can be a challenge for patients or visitors to find their way through an unfamiliar hospital. By collaborating with Connexient, we can help make a trip to the hospital a little easier,” said Michael Sutter, CIO for Carle.
