Roanoke, Va.-based Carilion Clinic partnered with PeraHealth. As per the partnership, the clinic will utilize PeraHealth's predictive analytics solutions to help identify patients at risk for serious health issues.
The 703–bed Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital will integrate PeraHealth's suite of clinical surveillance solutions into its Epic EHR system. PeraHealth's solutions leverage the Rothman Index, a validated patient acuity algorithm that helps providers predict mortality and readmissions. The Rothman Index is validated by 20 peer-reviewed publications.
Providers can also use PeraHealth's solutions to remotely monitor patients across multiple care settings and prioritize patient bedside visits as well as nursing assignments.
