The new agreement will convert CareCloud’s electronic data interchange claims into fast healthcare interoperability resources, which will allow payer data to be securely and rapidly transferred in real-time with payer and provider systems handling activities such as member eligibility verification and claims processing.

“Through our technology partnership with Google Cloud, we’re able to leverage our data transfer technology and make it readily available,” CareCloud Chief Technology Officer Josh Siegel said in a news release. “Our ultimate goal is to drastically simplify the work needed to achieve interoperability while being agile enough as the requirements continue to evolve, and this partnership is helping us both deliver on that promise.”

In September, CareCloud began using Google Cloud’s healthcare application programming interfaces to expand its cloud-based platform, allowing physicians to access their patient’s information across multiple care systems.
