Boulder Community Health names new CIO

Boulder (Colo.) Community Health has pegged Michael Jefferies as CIO, according to the Boulder Daily Camera.

Mr. Jefferies, Longmont (Colo.) United Hospital’s former vice president of information systems, will take the helm June 1.

“Michael has a strong grasp of the evolving direction of healthcare and the foundational role that information technology can play in healthcare systems,” said BCH President and CEO Robert Vissers, MD, in a statement.
