BMC will participate in Avia’s Medicaid Transformation Project, which aims to increase health systems’ digital innovation solutions to help improve issues such as behavioral health and substance use disorder among Medicaid patient populations.

The Avia network currently includes more than 45 U.S. health systems.

“Digital is a key to improving access to care, unlocking operational efficiencies, and building new capabilities to leverage and connect our resources,” BMC Executive Vice President and COO Alastair Bell, MD, said in a news release. “Collaborating with our peers will challenge us to think differently, and AVIA will provide us with the playbook to get from innovation to impact.”
