Booz Allen Hamilton, an IT consulting firm the Veterans Affairs Department signed a $750 million management contract with to support its EHR overhaul, posted a job listing Sept. 13 for an EHR fielding team project coordinator to assist with the VA's EHR modernization program management office.

The job would be based in Spokane, Wash., at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center, according to the Politico Morning eHealth newsletter, which reported the position opening. Mann-Grandstaff is one of the four pilot sites for the VA's Cerner implementation, which will take place over the next 18 months.

The prospective hire would "provide dedicated, site-level support to assist with critical path success and to mitigate site-level issues, [and] develop the site-level work breakdown structure, project schedule, risk management, and meeting coordination and facilitation," the listing states.
