Blessing Health System deploys Care Logistics’ operating solution

Quincy, Ill.-based Blessing Health System implemented Care Logistics’ hospital operating system.

The operating system features process engineering and human logistics software. It aims to improve communication, coordination and handoffs across all departments. It provides numerous key metrics, including length of stay, case mix index and capacity for admissions increase.

“We partnered with Care Logistics to improve patient flow and care delivery at Blessing Hospital while driving down the cost of care,” said Blessing Executive Vice President and COO Elliot Kuida. “Our partnership has exceeded expectations, and we are excited with the impressive results we have achieved.”

Blessing Health System comprises two hospitals, a physician group, a college of nursing and health sciences, a network of medical specialty businesses and a charitable foundation.
