All BJC HealthCare hospitals and employed physicians will utilize the single EMR.

The system selected Epic after undergoing a year-long review process including surveys, demonstrates and site visits to determine clinician needs and preferences.

“After spending time participating in product demonstrations, reaching out to colleagues and participating in clinical site visits, the participants signaled a clear preference for Epic,” said Cherodeep Goswami, project lead, in a news release.
