Dentacoin is accepted at some U.K.-based dental practices as a form of payment. It enables mobile phone or tablet payments, and is bank-charge free with receipts and withdrawals made in seconds.
“With the added investment all cryptocurrency has been receiving it’s no wonder the value of Dentacoin has continued to surge,” Seb Evans, Dentistry.co.uk editor, said. “It doesn’t look like it will stop here either.”
Dentacoin claims to solve dental health by bringing blockchain to the industry and providing equal access to high-quality care to all individuals, despite their income. It will also offer Dentacoin Assurance, an insurance-like model, which will be introduced later this year.
