Biomedical data analysis company Seven Bridges appoints CEO

Seven Bridges, a biomedical data analysis company based in Cambridge, Mass., promoted Brandi Davis-Dusenbery, PhD, to serve as CEO. She succeeds Deniz Kural, PhD, the company’s co-founder who is assuming the role of executive chairman of the board of directors.

Dr. Davis-Dusenbery most recently served as senior vice president of science and product at Seven Bridges. She was also instrumental in creating the Cancer Genomics Cloud, a National Cancer Institute pilot that today supports the analytic needs of about 1,500 researchers. Previously, she was a fellow at Boston-based Harvard University’s department of stem cell and regenerative biology.

Additionally, Seven Bridges made the following appointments to its leadership team:

•    Michael Hultner, PhD, is the company’s new chief strategy officer
•    Mike Falvey has joined as CFO
•    Andrew Gruen, PhD, was promoted to chief communications officer
•    Milan Mitrovic has been promoted to chief product officer
•    Bruce Press was promoted to executive vice president, business development and strategy
