Michael Garrison has been named executive vice president and president of the company’s medical segment, and Richard Byrd has been named executive vice president and president of the company’s interventional segment, according to an Aug. 25 press release.
Both leaders will step into their roles starting Sept. 6.
In these roles, Mr. Garrison and Mr. Byrd will oversee the global operational, commercial and financial performance of their respective business segments, including advancing the portfolio and innovation agenda aligned with BD’s 2025 strategy.
