Through the move, Aurora will close eight of its current QuickCare clinics in eastern Wisconsin, replace five in the Milwaukee area and open three in the Oshkosh and Green Bay area.
Because the clinics will be integrated with Aurora’s Epic EHR, nurse practitioners at the QuickCare clinics will have access to Aurora patients’ records and the records of other hospitals that utilize Epic.
“This will be fully a functional Aurora clinic,” said Aurora Health Care Medical Group President-elect Jeff Bahr.
Aurora’s Walgreens QuickCare clinics will be open seven days a week.
