“Rather than attempting to invent or regulate solutions for all that ails healthcare, government should create the space for these innovators to create them,” Mr. Bush wrote.
To do so, Mr. Bush suggests the government give innovators and entrepreneurs the data they seek. If President Trump’s administration works toward “improved, secure data transparency,” healthcare will see drastic improvements, from better price transparency for patients to more innovation efforts from inventors, according to Mr. Bush.
Additionally, Mr. Bush posits that the Trump administration “can bring down the cost of care through policies that offer doctors incentive for delivering healthy patient outcomes at lower cost.”
In conclusion, Mr. Bush makes a call to the newly minted president. “To sum it up: @realDonaldTrump It’s the innovators, not Congress, that will make healthcare great again,” he wrote. “[Please] give them room.”
