The multipart docuseries will focus on mental health and mental wellness. Prince Harry and Ms. Winfrey serve as partners, co-creators and executive producers on the project.
“I truly believe that good mental health — mental fitness — is the key to powerful leadership, productive communities and a purpose-driven self,” Prince Harry said in a news release. “It is a huge responsibility to get this right as we bring you the facts, the science and the awareness of a subject that is so relevant during these times.”
Prince Harry launched a mental health awareness campaign in 2017 called “Heads Together.” The organization also leads various mental health charities that provide support for individuals affected by mental illness.
Ms. Winfrey signed a multiyear partnership in June to create original content for Apple. She is a producer, actress, talk show host and CEO of the Oprah Winfrey Network.
