Apple CIO to retire after 3 decades on job

Apple CIO Mary Demby plans to retire after more than three decades at the company, Bloomberg reported Oct. 31, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

Ms. Demby has led the tech giant's information systems and technology department, which oversees IT infrastructure for Apple's online services, website and manufacturing, according to the story.

The company's vice president of online retail, vice president in charge of industrial design and chief privacy officer have also recently departed or are soon to leave the company, Bloomberg reported.

An Apple spokesperson declined to comment on the moves to the news outlet.
