Telehealth patients using Amwell — American Well’s direct-to-consumer video consultation app — will now have access to Intermountain’s nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The service is currently limited to patients living in Utah, although it will soon roll out to Idaho residents.

Intermountain joins Cleveland Clinic, Jacksonville, Fla.-based Nemours Children’s Health System and LiveHealth Online from Anthem, which were the first partners to enter the Exchange in May 2016. Intermountain has experience with telehealth from serving its existing patients on Intermountain Connect Care.
