American Telemedicine Association to Offer Online Telehealth Course for Professionals

The American Telemedicine Association is offering an online course discussing critical steps for planning and implementing a mental telehealth service, according to a news release.

The course is offered through the ATA’s Learning Center. It was developed by mental health and telemedicine leaders and covers topics such as the history of telemedicine, models of care, necessary infrastructure and technology for initiating a telehealth service and legal and ethical points to consider.
