The project will produce tools that healthcare providers can use to minimize EHR-related medical errors, including a checklist that will help identify errors and best practices to minimize the occurrence of errors, according to the report.
The Public Interest Committee of the AHLA has secured a $45,000 contribution from the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management in support of the research project.
