The Kiosk, developed by the remote health monitoring technology company AMC Health, consists of a Bluetooth-enabled tabletop device for employee use. With the device, employees can manage their health and provide real-time updates to their care manager. The Kiosk provides a platform for employees to take their own biometric measurements and to receive interactive health information.
The Kiosk directly transmits health information data into Geisinger Health Plan’s system, where Geisinger Health Plan can ensure data accuracy. The method of health information collection the Kiosk utilizes is HIPAA-compliant.
