More than 20 companies are involved in the collaboration, including IDEO CoLab, Deloitte and Fidelity. The companies will build upon the blockchain that IDEO CoLab launched in February.

The blockchain accelerator, known as Startup Studio, will also provide blockchain entrepreneurs the funding they need to enhance the “development, adoption and impact of blockchain technology,” said Ian Lee, managing director at IDEO CoLabs.
