The partnership includes several integrations of software from the two companies’ platforms. NantHealth, a provider of a clinical operating system based in Culver City, Calif., provides a clinical decision support system for oncology which will be integrated into Allscripts’ EHR system, according to a news release.
NantHealth also collects patient data from remote patient monitoring devices. The partnership will integrate this information onto a physician’s EHR system to make it accessible. The combination will improve Allscripts’ population health view, according to the news release.
“We’re working with NantHealth to create a game-changing platform for coordinated cancer care,” said Allscripts CEO Paul M. Black in the news release. “Integrated patient information — from the molecular level and from the entire continuum of care — is a powerful tool to improve healthcare.”
