Allscripts, Hale Health collaborate on free telemedicine solution

Hale Health, a San Francisco-based telemedicine company, has partnered with Allscripts to provide its users with free telemedicine services.

The partnership comes after Hale Health joined the Allscripts Developer Program, which allows outside companies to integrate products with Allscripts' existing EHR software.

Hale Health's standalone telemedicine platform allows users to share photos and videos, conduct live video visits and asynchronously message. Its Allscripts-integrated platform lets Allscripts clients sync their patient panel and schedule remote visits with patients.

"We're thrilled to partner with Allscripts to bring our free, easy-to-use telemedicine solution to their providers," said Hale Health CEO Anna Thomas in a statement. "At Hale, we seek out partners who are committed to interoperability — we believe it's not just shared access to data, but about giving providers quick, low-cost access to a solution that can have immediate impact on clinical workflow and productivity."
