Allscripts’ dbMotion platform already uses Clinical Architecture’s Symedical system, though the expanded partnership will use Symedical’s code set mapping feature, which will increase interoperability.
“We are committed to enhancing the customer experience by continually improving the performance of the Allscripts dbMotion semantic interoperability solution,” said Peter McClennen, president of Allscripts Population Health Management. “By integrating Symedical with Allscripts dbMotion, we are able to provide enhanced and more efficient mapping tools, as well as improved vocabularies distribution. This can enable our clients to achieve their health information exchange and connectivity goals more quickly —which, in turn, can accelerate their efforts to improve care and outcomes.”
