Madison, Wis.-based UW Health plans to quadruple the number of care providers using an AI-powered documentation tool in the first half of 2025.
Over the next six months, UW Health aims to expand the tool’s rollout to an additional 300 clinic users, bringing the total to 400 providers across its Wisconsin and Illinois locations, the health system said in a March 20 news release.
UW Health began piloting the technology in June 2024 with 20 providers. By the end of that year, approximately 100 clinicians were using the tool, which is now deployed across more than 20 specialties and subspecialties, including family medicine, pediatrics and dermatology.
